Terrible news! The execs at Netflix have reversed the season 4 order of GLOW and the show will not be returning! Season 4 was going to be the final season for the series, but it had to be pulled due to concerns over filming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of GLOW due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging,” said a Netflix spokesperson. “We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of GLOW with us and the world.”

There will be a four issue comic book series featuring the characters of GLOW coming out in March 2019!

The comic book series is said to feature original stories spinning off the Netflix series.

Great news! Netflix has announced that a third season of GLOW is happening!

THR is reporting that the new season will have 10 episodes, which is the same as the previous two seasons. There is no announced date for the release of season 3, but it is safe to assume it will be Summer 2019 as with previous seasons.

This morning, nominations for the 70th Annual Emmy Awards were announced and GLOW scored a total of 10 noms! Sadly, Alison was not recognized for her performance as Ruth in the lead actress category (WHY?!) but hopefully she will be this time next year! The show did nab a nomination for outstanding series and outstanding supporting actress (Betty Gilpin).

The ceremony will air live Monday, September 17 on NBC.
